Since starting on her solo ukulele journey, Chantelle has performed at many ukulele festivals throughout Australia, including Newkulele (NSW), Sunshine Coast (QLD), Blue Mountains (NSW), Spruke (QLD), Melbourne (VIC), Hills (VIC), Briagolong Uke Fest (VIC) and Coleman’s Music (VIC).
In 2018, she won the *Best Solo Act* award at Hills Ukulele Festival. In 2022, she performed in the main gala evening concert at the same festival.
She has also performed at many other music festivals and events, such as Inverloch Jazz Festival, The Basin Music Festival, Berwick Show, Doveton Show, Bayles Music Festival and Australia Day celebrations.
In 2019 she also performed as a vocalist with the main bands at three large community carols by candlelight events, including Cranbourne, Lynbrook and Narre Warren North.
During the pandemic of 2020, she performed on various online events, including Craig & Sarah’s Minifest #2, Hills Ukulele Festival and the Pete & Devin Show.
She was also the featured guest on an episode of the “Ukulele is the New Black” podcast in 2020.
A true entertainer with rich vocals, she performs a mixture of beautiful and fun originals, stunning and complex jazz standards, as well as other well-known popular songs, often engaging the audience in singalong. She also loves to teach ukulele workshops and can cater for beginners through to more intermediate players.
In addition to singing with her ukulele, Chantelle also enjoys other general singing opportunities as well.
In 2018, she was a Grand Finalist (top 4) in the local “Star Search For A Cause” vocal contest.
She has sung with the Cranbourne Lions Concert Band, the Westernport Regional Band and also enjoys singing jazz standards with jazz ensembles.
